The Forest of Dean has a second Green Party councillor with Sid Phelps win in Lydbrook and Ruardean. Sid joins Chris McFarlane who has shown just how good a dedicated and concerned Green Councillor can be.

Sid and Chris

Sid's win came as the result of a massive 27.9% vote increase for the Green Party mostly at the expense of the Labour and UKIP candidates and came as a result of both the growing attractiveness of Green Party ideas to local communities as well as Sid's commitment and hard work in the election.

Lydbrook & Ruardean (Forest of Dean) result:

GRN: 35.3% (+27.9)

CON: 24.3% (+6.2)

LAB: 22.7% (-2.0)

UKIP: 11.1% (-12.2)

LDEM: 6.6% (+6.6)
